Well, homework is due today. I think I'm prepared. Two of my assignments involve reciting things. One of the recitations is the Pledge of Allegiance, which I hate to say. The other, Sammy the Snake, is more fun. Here it is:

We said it every morning in school, followed by the singing of "My Country Tis of Thee", and I think, a prayer or Bible selection read from a book (gasp!!!) How many children were harmed by that! It's unimaginable! Anyway, at that time, everyone called it the "Pledgeallegiance".
