A good paragraph is like a burger. The topic and closing sentences are like the bun while the supporting sentences are the "meat" (on in my case the veggie since I don't like meat burgers). At school, we're supposed to use the "burger principle" to make a good paragraph. Here's the paragraph I wrote.
99.98% of things are solids, liquids, or gases. Ice is a solid. Water is a liquid. Vapor is a gas. Solids, liquids, and gases are everywhere.
(Sidenote: The 99.98% figure is a "statistic" that Daddy made up. Apparently some things are plasma, which are not solid, liquid or gas.)
