On Saturday, we did our Odyssey of the Mind performance. The theme was to create a party celebrating something unusual. As part of the theme, we had to create unusual noisemakers as well. I came up with the idea that we celebrate the thumb since it's a very important finger. The judges thought this was very creative. One difficulty in the lead-up to the event was that I kept getting into fights about which lines to say. (I didn't like some of the lines.) Fortunately, it all came together in the performance. I was my usual professional self (when not practicing) and things went really well.
